From there, we take care of the rest: round trip charter flights from Winnipeg to Flin Flon, and a classic Canadian float plane ride over endless lakes and forest to the lodge. ■ CHANGEOVER DAY - Full day of fishing for departing guests, while arriving guests begin fishing the following day.
Package Inclusions
Standard Packages:
- Round trip charter flights from Winnipeg to Flin Flon (approx. 2 hours)
- Float plane flights from Flin Flon to the lodge and return (approx. 25 minutes)
- One expert local guide for every two anglers
- Private accommodations with daily housekeeping
- Three delicious home-cooked meals per day (including an unforgettable shore lunch), plus daily appetizers
- Use of 18’ Lund fishing boats (including gas, nets, paddles, life jackets, etc.)
- All non-alcoholic beverages
- Free Wi-fi
- Access to lodge facilities and equipment
- Games room and great room with fireplace
- Outdoor firepit areas
- Open decks, canoes, kayaks, and more
Northern Lights Packages:
Everything included in the standard package, plus:
- Peak season northern lights viewing
- Nightly Aurora Alert Service (until 2:00 a.m.)
- Late night snacks and drinks (during aurora viewing)
- Elevated dining experience
Taxes, licenses, incidentals and gratuities not included.
Special Notes
Group Sizes
All rates at Kississing Lake Lodge are based on groups of two people or more. For groups with an uneven number an extra boat is sometimes required; please add $150 per day to the package price to cover the cost of the extra boat and guide. Please call for details.
Weight Limit
Rates are based on a weight limit of 50 lbs per person.
How it Works
Read on for a brief day-by-day summary of how this year’s fishing packages will work.
DAY 1: The private charter flight from Winnipeg to Flin Flon will be departing from the Winnipeg Airport. Once you land in Flin Flon, you’ll be greeted by someone from our team who will drive you to our float base where you’ll board one of our float planes for a short 20-25 minute plane ride to the lodge. Dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge.
Please ensure your flights land in Winnipeg by 1:00 p.m.
DAY 2: Full day of fishing.
DAY 3: Full day of fishing.
DAY 4: Full day of fishing.
DAY 5: Full day of fishing. After fishing, you can check out and dinner will be served before your flight departs. You’ll arrive back in Winnipeg at 10:00 p.m.; reservations will be made for your party at The Grand Hotel at the Winnipeg International Airport. Flights back home can be booked for anytime the next day.
Add two full days of fishing for the 6-day trip.
Payment Policy
Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $1,000 per guest is required to confirm all reservations at Kississing Lodge.
Final Payment
Your remaining balance is due at the end of your stay with us, along with any applicable charges that may apply (i.e. taxes, incidental, etc.)
Accepted Methods of Payment
We accept checks, cash, Visa and MasterCard. An additional 2% service fee applies to all credit card payments, except for the required deposit.
Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit.
- Reservations can be transferred or sold to another party. It is your responsibility to obtain a replacement for cancelled group members.
- We highly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment should unforeseen circumstances arise (i.e. commercial airline issues, natural disasters, medical emergencies, etc.).
