How it Works
Read on for a brief day-by-day summary of how this year’s fishing packages will work.
DAY 1: The private charter flight from Winnipeg to Flin Flon will be departing from the Winnipeg Airport. Once you land in Flin Flon, you’ll be greeted by someone from our team who will drive you to our float base where you’ll board one of our float planes for a short 20-25 minute plane ride to the lodge. Dinner will be served upon arrival to the lodge.
Please ensure your flights land in Winnipeg by 1:00 p.m.
DAY 2: Full day of fishing.
DAY 3: Full day of fishing.
DAY 4: Full day of fishing.
DAY 5: Full day of fishing. After fishing, you can check out and dinner will be served before your flight departs. You’ll arrive back in Winnipeg at 10:00 p.m.; reservations will be made for your party at The Grand Hotel at the Winnipeg International Airport. Flights back home can be booked for anytime the next day.
Add two full days of fishing for the 6-day trip.
Kississing Full Service, Guided Fishing Packages Include:
- Includes round trip from Winnipeg to Flin Flon
- Return trip transportation from Flin Flon to the lodge via float plane
- Private accommodations in modern cabins
- Three delicious home-cooked meals per day (including an unforgettable shore lunch), plus daily appetizers
- One legendary local guide for every two anglers
- Unlimited use of 18’ Lund fishing boats (including gas, nets, paddles, life jackets, etc.)
- Use of kayaks and canoes
- Wireless internet
Taxes, licenses, incidentals and gratuities not included.
Group Sizes
All rates at Kississing Lake Lodge are based on groups of two people or more. For groups with an uneven number an extra boat is sometimes required; please add $150 per day to the package price to cover the cost of the extra boat and guide. Please call for details.
Weight Limit
Rates are based on a weight limit of 50 lbs per person for those flying with Wings Over Kississing from Winnipeg to Flin Flon.
Payment Policy
Deposit

A deposit is required to confirm all reservations at Kississing Lodge.
- For trips starting in Winnipeg: $1,000 deposit per guest
Payment
The balance is due at the end of your trip, together with any other charges that may apply (taxes, licenses, etc.).
Accepted Methods of Payment
We accept checks, cash, Visa and MasterCard. An additional 2% service charge will apply to all payments made with credit cards, except for the minimum deposit required.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation 90 days prior to your trip:
If a cancellation is made 90 days prior to your trip, 50% of the deposit will be credited to next year. The remaining deposit, minus a $70 cancellation fee will be refunded.
Cancellation 90 days within your trip:
For cancellations made within 90 days of your trip, 50% of the deposit will be credited to the following year and the remaining deposit is not refundable or transferable.
Please note: Remaining deposits are transferrable for up to a maximum of two years. The deposit will expire if not used within that time frame.
